Ciana Talmage, 25, Tragically Dies in Fatal Crash in Rockford, IL Early Sunday Morning
Ciana Talmage, a 25-year-old from Rockford, Illinois, tragically lost her life in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning, September 14th. The accident occurred around 2:42 a.m. at the roundabout near Kishwaukee Street and Airport Drive.
The Rockford Police Department responded to the scene, where they found that the vehicle, carrying three people, had struck a wall. Ciana was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 3:19 a.m., as confirmed by the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office.
Alazia Hatchett, a 30-year-old woman from Orland Hills, has been charged with aggravated DUI involving death and reckless homicide in connection with the crash. Authorities have not released additional details about the other occupants or the exact circumstances surrounding the incident, which remains under investigation.
